The quintet “Dat Bedoe Ik” plays its own Dutch-language songs, mainly by singer and guitarist Erwin van Geloven. Erwin about that: ‘My songs are about my life. I have a good life, so they’re fun songs.”
ABOUT
Fred Bosman (Bas), Stan van Hulten (Percussie), Theo Wijnen (Fluit) en Patrick van de List (Gitaar) creëren verder het groepsgeluid, dat iemand typeerde als ‘het midden tussen Nick Cave, De Dijk en Youp van ’t Hek’.
De onderwerpen zijn vriendschap, liefde, dagelijkse bijzonderheden en bijzondere dagen.
En dat met een begeleiding die de ene keer als een tapijtje onder de woorden ligt en de andere keer uitnodigt tot meezingen en dansen.

Papa and the Mountain Berg is a picture book about lung cancer and loss. The book was created from the experiences of different families dealing with lung cancer. It's inspired by the loss of Iris' father to lung cancer. The mountain-shaped book is made to make the conversation about loss, something you can’t ignore, easier for young and old.
