Van 11 september t/m 25 oktober 2026 presenteert BredaPhoto de twaalfde editie van het internationale BredaPhoto Festival. Onder de titel Our Songs Came Through brengt het festival krachtige fotografie, videokunst en immersieve installaties samen rond het thema troost en veerkracht. Laat je meevoeren door indrukwekkende beelden én de verhalen die daarachter schuilgaan.
Op verrassende locaties door heel Breda – van parken en leegstaande gebouwen tot een voormalig politiebureau en de oude vrouwengevangenis – ontdek je het werk van meer dan dertig nationale en internationale kunstenaars. Naast de tentoonstellingen biedt BredaPhoto een uitgebreid programma met rondleidingen, artist talks, workshops, performances en activiteiten voor jong en oud.

EXPO: Papa & de Berg - Iris van Vliet

Papa and the Mountain Berg is a picture book about lung cancer and loss. The book was created from the experiences of different families dealing with lung cancer. It's inspired by the loss of Iris' father to lung cancer. The mountain-shaped book is made to make the conversation about loss, something you can’t ignore, easier for young and old.
