I AM WOMAN Yvonne Raeijmaekers
In 'I Am Woman' toont Yvonne Raeijmaekers een serie schilderijen waarin vrouwelijkheid in al haar lagen zichtbaar wordt: krachtig en kwetsbaar, aards en spiritueel, moederlijk en vrij. Haar werk nodigt uit tot vertraging en verstilling, en herinnert aan de wijsheid die hierin schuilt.
Yvonne studeerde aan de Kunstacademie in Tilburg en ontwikkelde een beeldtaal waarin kleur, symboliek en intuïtie samenkomen. In haar schilderijen vloeien thema' s als transformatie, creatiekracht, geboorte, spiritualiteit en verbondenheid met de natuur moeiteloos in elkaar over. Het werk ontstaat vanuit een diep innerlijk proces en nodigt de toeschouwer uit om opnieuw contact te maken met de eigen vrouwelijke pool— ongeacht gender.

EXPO: Papa & de Berg - Iris van Vliet

Papa and the Mountain Berg is a picture book about lung cancer and loss. The book was created from the experiences of different families dealing with lung cancer. It's inspired by the loss of Iris' father to lung cancer. The mountain-shaped book is made to make the conversation about loss, something you can’t ignore, easier for young and old.
